Darrell was punctual at arriving on date & time as scheduled. He reviewed the work plan with me & proceeded with his work. He worked diligently for 5 or so hours only taking a short break for a quick lunch. He vacuumed & tidied up the area when finished.
Darrell is a nice young man... friendly, polite, & very good at answering questions & explaining things. I was comfortable having him in my home.

It's was a pleasure having Darrell install my ceiling fans and light pendants. He was professional, efficient, and very communicative. He installed 4 ceilings fans, 3 pendant lights, and even updated my light switches to give me dual control in rooms that didn't have them, which was not originally planned without an issue. I don't know if anyone remembers, but back after the ice storm last year I had the top of a pine tree take down my power drop bending the conduit to a severe angle. I posted on here looking for a recommendation for a licensed electrician. I tried everyone that was recommended, but could not get anyone of them to even give me a quote on doing the work. Last week I saw a post by Darrell Ayers owner of BBD Electric, so I sent him a message about my power drop issue. He came out on Wednesday of last week and gave me an estimate, he also noted that there was a burnt bus bar in the combo meter/ breaker box that could possibly cause problems later on. He gave me a fair quote on doing the work with and without replacing the combo meter breaker box. I told him to go ahead and even though it was more than I wanted to spend replace it all so that there would be less chance of problems later on. I gave him the deposit on doing the work on Friday the 6th. On Monday he pulled the proper permits and scheduled with Duke Power to have the power disconnected on Wednesday the 11th. By 3pm on Wednesday he had completed all of the work and power was back on. Not only did he fix all of the electrical issue, but he also cleaned up all of the old cable and phone wires to make it look a lot better. I said all of this to highly recommend Darrell Ayers and his company BBD Electric. He did what none of the other electricians I contacted would do and at a fair and honest price.
